Establishing a brand for the new major player in biscuits and confectionery
A new global brand
Our challenge: Bring to life some of the world’s most loved consumer brands including Godiva, McVitie’s and Ülker under a newly formed company. pladis had recently established their new name and logo, but needed a brand to communicate their story around the globe. Through workshops we helped them define their architecture maximising equity from their much loved consumer brands.

The brief demonstrated that they needed a flexible brand world that reflected the purpose of ‘happiness to the world with every bite.’ We created an editable pattern illustration that incorporated simplified product illustrations, happy faces and colours from their consumer brands. This could be used across all operating companies, whilst still allowing them to display their own consumer brands within the system.

The result is a distinctive, playful brand world with bags of personality.
